How do you spray?
Do you spray the usual way?
Catherine de Medici wore scented gloves.
Some people spray a scarf.
Dandies would douse their hankies and wear them.
You can take them off if needs be.
You could spray the cuffs and flanks of a shirt or blouse. They’ll give off wafts from time to time when you move.
You could try a walk through. Spray into the air and walk through it (clothed).
Or, you could spray your knees, it’ll diffuse when you walk. You’ll smell it when you’re sitting and it won’t be so present to others.
In fact, why spray on skin at all, perfume lasts longer on cloth.

I normally spray on my skin, my right arm to test new perfumes, or on my decollete (such a weird word to borrow from French!). I only have one perfume I spray on clothes, and that's because I love its sillage (another weird word to borrow from French!) and I can easily smell it if I keep it at arm's length.
I never knew!
